Holly Cole Trio... Cry (If You Want to)

Vamos a poner algo de música Jazzera a la tarde de la mano de la espectacular voz de Holly Cole desde uno de sus trabajos editados bajo el nombre de Holly Cole Trio junto al bajista Davis Piltch y el pianista Aaron Davies.

Holly Cole nació en 1963 en Canadá, y en 1983 comenzó su carrera musical en Toronto, es en el año 1986 que funda el trio junto a Piltch y Davies y editan su primer EP en 1989 titulado Christmas Blues, y al año siguiente editan su primer álbum Girl Talk.

Pero hoy vamos con este espectacular tema del excelente trabajo discográfico editado en 1993 titulado Don’t Smoke In Bed (No fumes en la cama), llamado Cry (If you want to). Tremenda voz, música ambientadísima para que vean que el Cuervo no es solo ruido y pelos largos.

Llora (si quieres)

Llora si quieres,
no te voy a decir que no lo hagas,
no voy a tratar de levantarte el ánimo,
simplemente me quedaré aquí por si me necesitas.

No es lo ideal mantenerse sin sucumbir ante las emociones,

    Llevo tiempo siguiendo el blog pero es mi primer comentario. Si no fuera por este blog me hubiese perdido de temas que, realmente son extraordinarios.
    Me encantó la letra de este tema...y eso que no me gusta el jazz. Saludos y que viva el Cuervo!

    Beck, realmente Holly Cole se canta todo y tiene tremenda voz. Te recomiendo si conseguís el disco Don't smoke in Bed que no te vas a desilusionar.
